Favorite Picture Post

I love this picture because the camera lens used makes the construction vehicles look like toys. It gives me the same perspective of when I look at an ant hill or figurines of the same objects, except I know these ones are big. The focus of the picture follows the rule of thirds and makes the center bulldozer the focal point. The bright orange barricades nearby also draw the eye to this spot. The photo manages to show off a lot tiny details, such as the markings on the bulldozers. The construction worker almost ant-like and the rubble looks like crumbs, making the hard work that goes into removing it seem very insignificant.

  1. The point of view is so great in this photo! Everything looks so tiny :) The color is also really muted, so the bright orange and yellow add a lot to the photo!

  3. These kinds of photos are probably my favorite. I Think they're taken with a special camera lens that allows it to take more physical space into one photo. I also like that it makes everything look small, it is an unusual perspective. Also, the fact that in this particular picture the top and bottom are blurred is interesting.

  4. Tilt-shift photography cool! I really like how this photo makes these normally large machines and vehicles look like they are toddler toys! Awesome picture!
